18 volts can pretty much be run on any
power wheels
that came stock with a 12 volt
system and still maintain a good
level of reliability/longevity. For
those cars that came as 6volt stock,
you would be safer sticking to
12volts.
You can buy new battery here. Remember to choose right
voltage. Ooops, I almost forget,
there are two ways to make your power wheels
have 18 voltage
battery.
First, buy one 6 voltage battery and add on to old your 12
voltage battery. Second way, buy 3
pieces of 6 voltage battery and use
them together. Which one is the best
way? Some people think this shortens
the life of the batteries by not
using similar battery capacities.
And you will get some problem to
charge battery with different
capacities. So, I suggest you to use
3 pieces of 6 voltages. In this way,
you can
charge all 3 batteries in
parallel. Read related
